Project Responsibilities: Digital Art, Production

In Viking Blood, you play as a viking whose town has been attacked by ice giants. It is your objective to fight your way through wave after wave of enemies as you make your way to the frozen heart of the Ice Giants territory to end their attacks and save your town. The game is a simple side scrolling brawler with relatively straightfoward mechanics and a unique art style.

Created during my second year at Edith Cowan University, Viking Blood was a 6 week project undertaken by a team of 3, with myself acting as a Digital Artist and Producer on the project. The game utilized the fantastic traditional art skills of one of our team members, which we chose to carry over and utilize in the game itself. The game was built in XNA, and requires an XBOX 360 controller to be played well.
